Come ogni anno, prima degli Oscar 2014, vengono premiati i peggiori film dell’anno appena trascorso. I Razzie Awards hanno determinato quali sono stati i flop del 2013. Bisogna innanzitutto ammettere che alcune appaiono notevoli forzature, mentre su altri è sin troppo facile essere d’accordo. La Golden Raspberry Award Foundation ha annunciato i vincitori dei 34esimi Annual Razzie Awards: una sorta di anti-Oscar decretati la sera prima degli Academy Awards. Quattro dei cinque nominati al Razzie Awards 2014 come peggior film hanno ottenuto almeno un premio: l’unico film a non vincere il poco ambito premio è stato Un Weekend da Bamboccioni 2, con Adam Sandler. Tre premi per Movie 43 (in italiano Comic Movie): sceneggiatura, miglior regia e peggior film. Tre premi anche per After Earth: peggior attore non protagonista a Will Smith, peggior attore protagonista a Jaden Smith (suo figlio) e peggior coppia sullo schermo a loro due. Tyler Perry (in drag) ha vinto il premio per la peggiore attrice (per l’ottava volta nella sua carriera), Kim Kardashian come peggiore attrice non protagonista per Tyler Perry’s Temptation e The Lone Ranger come peggior remake/sequel/spin off. Su quest’ultimo, però, non tutti sono d’accordo. Sono stati molti i film peggiori del 2013, ma The Lone Ranger, ad avviso di chi scrive, non è un film brutto e non è nemmeno da considerare oscena la recitazione di Johnny Depp. Stesso dicasi per la recitazione di Lindsay Lohan in The Canyons. Su After Earth, purtroppo, non si può che concordare. Ma vediamo tutti i premi dei Razzie Awards 2014, oltre a quali sono stati i peggiori film del 2013.
